Common questions
How does multi-domain composition work?
Select which skill domains to include — grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening — and drag to reorder. Each domain uses the same configuration as its standalone composer. The exam composer combines them into a single paper with unified numbering and mark allocation.
What are the Cambridge presets?
FCE (B2 First Certificate) produces a 110-mark exam matching the real Cambridge structure. CAE (C1 Advanced) produces a 118-mark exam. Both are validated to the actual exam raw marks — not approximations.
What are the exam-exclusive exercise types?
Two types only available in exam mode: Word Formation (B1+) — fill gaps with the correct derived form of a root word, and Gapped Text (B2+) — place removed sentences back into a passage with one distractor. Both are modelled on Cambridge exam papers.
Can I create a quick quiz instead of a full exam?
Yes. The Grammar & Vocab Quiz preset creates a 25-mark quiz. The Grammar Focus preset makes a 30-mark test. You don't have to build a full multi-domain exam — the composer scales from a quick quiz to a comprehensive assessment.
